ISG and Stride Treglown are excited to be able to offer a site visit in partnership with the University of Reading to showcase the progress on their new library (which will be just over half way through). The works will lead to the complete modernisation and revamp of the library which will increase space for individual and group study, and will make better use of the space currently available on the ground and first floors. The redevelopment will provide better access and security across the building as well as improving its energy efficiency, as a result of improved insulation and ventilation. The library has remained open and students are able to use the facility throughout the works taking place.
The event will include breakfast, networking, presentations from the University, Stride Treglown and ISG and then we will have an opportunity to do a site visit. PPE will be required (this includes Hi-Viz, Hard Hat, Gloves, Glasses and site boots) if you do not have PPE please let Zahra Waters know when booking your place.
