The General Data Protection Regulations - where are we now?

NB: THIS IS THE EVENT RESCHEDULED FROM JULY

The influx of emails sent out in the run up to the GDPR coming into effect was a useful insight into just how many organisations hold our data, and how the implementation of the GDPR has forced them to review permissions and privacy policies.

Carla Whalen from Russell-Cooke Solicitors will give us

  • an update on how the GDPR is working in practice and lessons from the first six months of implementation
  • guidance on what steps we can take if we are unsure how the GDPR applies to us
  • what actions we should be taking to ensure ongoing compliance with data protection legislation

Our Speaker

Carla is an Associate in the Charity and Social Business team at Russell-Cooke. She assists charities, social businesses and other third sector organisations with all aspects of employment law, HR and data protection matters.
