mode transport planning have invited members from the G4C to visit their Reading office at Spaces to tour the latest in co-working employment space and to see the measures in place that make the building a BREEAM excellent rating.
Weather permitting, it will be an opportunity to enjoy the last of the summer weather on one of the roof top terraces and enjoy views across Reading skyline whilst listening to members from Barton Willmore discussing the design for the roof-top space; and how it has contributed to the wider sustainability of the building and from mode in terms of what the office space provides for them and how members of the team have been involved in the office refurbishment.
The building was bought in 2014 by McKay Securities plc and has now been fully refurbished and let to co-working operator Spaces. The building has been kitted out with various seating areas and phone booths, a BBQ, pool table and the Spaces community team have an active diary of events for users of the office to benefit from.
The Spaces model is being rolled by a series of operators across the town as the new co-working employment model becomes an established model in Reading.
Following the speakers there will be opportunity for questions and networking.
