Allister Lewis, head of Technology at award-winning Architects Ayre Chamberlain Gaunt, will be talking about BIM and its impact on the traditional role of architects at a joint Constructing Excellence Hampshire and Constructing Excellence Berkshire meeting.
Allister recently undertook a research project where he interviewed leading architects and data-driven designers to get their view on what data driven design is, the skills required for the future and how the role of the architect may change.
His talk delivers the findings of his research and demonstrates why architects may need to adopt data-driven strategies to respond to construction industry strategies such as the UK Government Construction 2025 report.
