Suicide kills more construction workers than falls and every year there are over 69,000 new cases of work related illnesses reported that can be directly attributed to working within construction and stress, depression or anxiety accounts for a fifth of them.

The Lighthouse is the only charity that provides financial and emotional support to the construction community and their families; shocking statistics show that there is still much work to be done to improve safety and wellbeing. In this presentation, Bill will go through these and talk about the various ways in which the charity supports and helps build a successful mental health culture within the construction community.
