Managing Mental Health in Construction - Joint event with CIOB

NB: UPDATED DETAILS

Construction is one of the most dangerous industries to work in. Suicide kills more construction workers than falls and every year there are over 69,000 new cases of work related illnesses reported that can be directly attributed to working within construction and stress, depression or anxiety accounts for a fifth of them.

The CIOB Reading Hub and Constructing Excellence Berkshire invite you to join us for our joint CPD event where you will hear from Bill Hill, Chief Executive of The Lighthouse on this critical and current subject.

The Lighthouse is the only charity that provides financial and emotional support to the construction community and their families; shocking statistics show that there is still much work to be done to improve safety and wellbeing. In this presentation, Bill will go through these and talk about the various ways in which the charity supports and helps build a successful mental health culture within the construction community.

Please book via the CIOB website

This event it free for CE Berks members - your details will be checked after booking.  Non-members can book for £10.
