Scottish Parliament – three years late with multiple defects
Major construction projects always seem to be delivered late, over and over again. Brian Davies examines the reasons for this and suggests ways Clients and Project Managers can improve their chances of finishing on time.
Brian Davies has been involved in the planning of a number of major projects in the UK, Peru, The Middle East and Malaysia. He was the planning manager for Terminals 5 and 2 at Heathrow Airport but is now retired, giving occasional lectures to MSc students in Project Management.
