Utility mapping and a tour of Siren Brewery
Subsurface utilities such as electricity or gas mains exist on most construction sites. Whilst statutory authority records identify the position of these utilities, they often do not provide the level of accuracy needed for construction projects and a more detailed utilities survey may be required. Indeed, accurate utility mapping should take place in advance of any construction activity to ensure that all excavation works are carried out as safely and as efficiently as possible. Ian Stephens, Senior Survey Manager from Warner Surveys, will deliver a presentation covering latest techniques in utility mapping and provide a demonstration of data collection using latest GPR survey equipment.
We will then head over to Siren Brewery opposite for a guided tour and beers plus a demonstration from Warner Surveys on scanning the brewery!
