The Constructing Excellence Berkshire Club are pleased to have been invited by SECBE to attend the Inspiring Leaders event. Where you can hear from inspiring speakers and past participants at this milestone event celebrating 10 series of leadership development. Held at the Green Park Conference Centre in Reading, tickets are free and include networking and lunch.

The following contents will be covered:

• The real need for the UK and its construction sector to focus on better driving systematic positive change – to improve productivity, profitability, safety, environmental impact and more – insights shared by the UK Government’s lead on construction & innovation
• How Imposter Syndrome risks limiting the confidence and potential of our current and future team/business leaders, and what we can do to overcome and harness it – insights shared by a sector leading business coach
• The use leading businesses continue to make of the SECBE Innovation Leadership Programme to address succession development, talent development and creative problem solving of real business challenges – insights shared by the Joint MD of Darke & Taylor, a 250-strong M&E contractor
• The impact IFLP has had on over 120 leaders in the past 5 years and the vision for a sector-wide team of connected collaborative creative leaders to drive the sector forward – insights from Lighthouse Charity and others
• SECBE’s status as a not-for-profit organization that reinvests any surplus into delivering its mission to drive positive change through the construction / built environment sector

About IFLP:

The Innovative Future Leaders Programme is an intensive six-month course featuring three highly interactive, two-day residential workshops led by expert innovators. Participants develop their personal leadership and innovation skills by addressing real business challenges within their companies. Through expert-led learning and practical collaboration, they gain the confidence to challenge assumptions, explore new possibilities, and drive meaningful change.
